The Metrel MI 3114 PV Tester is a compact, rugged, and efficient instrument designed for safety testing and performance verification of photovoltaic (PV) installations—supporting system voltages up to 1500 V and short-circuit currents up to 40 A.

Designed for solar professionals, the MI 3114 offers automated test sequences for fast and reliable verification of PV strings and modules, including open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current, insulation resistance, and polarity. Results are displayed clearly on a large backlit LCD, and data can be stored and analyzed via Metrel’s MESM software.
